What makes ogres particularly terrifying is their appetite. They don't simply kill – they see every combat as a potential meal. A wounded ogre might pause mid-fight to take a bite from a fallen enemy, and victorious ogres will drag survivors away to their lairs for later consumption.
They fear little except larger, meaner creatures, and even then, hunger can override self-preservation...
