Ghouls hunt like predators consumed by insatiable hunger. While they will feed upon corpses when necessary, the scent of living flesh drives them into a frenzy. Their strategy is brutally simple: paralyze and devour. A ghoul's claws carry a supernatural numbness that can freeze victims in place, leaving them helpless but horribly aware.
When hunting in packs, ghouls surround paralyzed prey and begin tearing into flesh immediately, not bothering to wait for death. The victim remains conscious through it all, able to feel every bite as the pack feeds...
